Joe's in Office!
Updated: April 14, 2026
Over the past several months, I’ve had the opportunity to fully step into this role and gain valuable, real-world experience serving Columbia Township. What started as a new chapter has quickly become something I take great pride and responsibility in each day.
Since taking office, I’ve attended regular township meetings, worked alongside fellow trustees and staff, and had the chance to engage directly with residents about the issues that matter most to them. From discussions on township operations and services to broader conversations about the future of our community, each experience has helped me grow both as a leader and as a representative of the people.
I’ve also had the opportunity to connect with local officials across Lorain County and the State of Ohio, building relationships that will help strengthen our township and ensure we are working collaboratively at every level. These connections and conversations are critical as we continue to move forward and advocate for the needs of our community.
While there is always more to learn, I remain committed to showing up, listening, and doing the work. I believe leadership is not just about decisions made in meetings, but about being present, accessible, and willing to serve in any way possible.
I’m grateful for the support I’ve received so far and look forward to continuing this work. This is only the beginning, and I’m excited for what’s ahead as we continue building a stronger Columbia Township together.
